Ministry of Health – Letter to the Families of Captives, Missing Persons and Returnees
Ministry of Health
Dear families, While the horrific events of October 7 dramatically changed general life in Israel, for you they signified a reality that has compelled you to cope with the most difficult challenges imaginable on a daily basis. In order to allow you to focus on this daunting task, the healthcare system has made arrangements to adapt the solutions that you - family members of the captives - most need. The ministry is promoting rapid and personalized adjustments within the healthcare system to meet your medical needs, making every effort to ensure that you receive the highest quality and quickest medical and psychosocial care possible. We will continue to provide tailored medical services for the returnees and their families through dedicated contact nurses assigned by the kupot cholim. We utilize our accumulated experience in this field to optimize procedures in hospital and community systems and are preparing for future returnees who we hope will return to you quickly and safely. For any health-related issue concerning you or your family, please contact The Kidnapped and Missing Persons, Returnees, and their Families Administration. Ministry of Health representatives on the Administration will address your query as soon as possible and strive to provide the response that best meets your needs. With hope for the swift return of the captives, Moshe Bar Siman Tov Director General, Ministry of Health
