Discharge from hospital: Ahead of the returnee's discharge from hospital, the Administration will establish a broad forum including all relevant parties to discuss various issues: ■ Coordination of all aspects of medical and emotional care to ensure a continuous sequence of care after leaving hospital. The kupot cholim, NII, Ministry of Health, and representatives from the Ministry of Education (if needed) will be updated about the discharge process and the returnee's new address. ■ The Administration will coordinate with the returnee and their family to assess needs and help locate an appropriate temporary residence for the period immediately following discharge from hospital. The Administration will assist with a hotel for respite days, temporary accommodation in apartments in central Israel and/or protected living for those eligible. ■ The IDF Personnel Directorate will assist with transportation for the returnees and their families from the hospital to their chosen place of residence. ■ The NII will allocate a one-time sum of 2,000 NIS to returnees and their families for taxi expenses. This sum will be paid directly into the returnee's bank account.
