Assistance with transportation for family members during hospitalization:

■ Family members will travel to and from the hospital with shuttles coordinated by the IDF Personnel Directorate. ■ The NII rehabilitation officer, who accompanies and liaises with the family, will continue to maintain daily contact to address needs that arise and to provide relevant solutions. ■ The rehabilitation officer will conduct a visit at the hospital after the first few critical days, and after coordinating with the hospital's social worker, the team accompanying the returnee, and family members. ■ Assistance with briefing the returnees and their families during hospitalization regarding media-related aspects. ■ We are well aware of the media interest around the return to Israel and work in conjunction with the hospitals' spokespeople, the IDF spokesperson, the Families Forum, and the public relations division in the Prime Minister's Office. ■ In order to assist in handling the media event and at the request of the returnees and their families, we will coordinate a briefing with a representative of the National Public Diplomacy Directorate who will assist the families with the local and foreign media during the returnee's hospitalization and when they are released.
