C. Emotional Therapy

Emotional therapy is paid for by the NII for parents, partners, children and siblings, and for those returning from captivity. Furthermore, the Ministry of Welfare, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Education provide emotional therapy services to additional relatives of returned captives. The Natonal Insurance Institute - NII (Bituach Leumi) ■ The rehabilitation workers at the NII branches (social workers with special training) are available to the families and are at their disposal for consultation, guidance and counselling for all rehabilitation-related needs - emotional, social, and family - and can assist in exercising rights and utilizing the various services. ■ In addition to the counselling given by the rehabilitation workers, partners, children, parents and siblings of captives/missing persons are entitled to funding for psychological therapy when, in the opinion of the rehabilitation worker, this therapy may benefit their emotional and functional state. ■ Funding of the therapy is subject to an agreement between the entitled individual and the rehabilitation worker that inclues the problems that need addressing, therapy goals, evaluation regarding the therapy's success, and the type of therapy required, as well as the therapist's expertise. ■ In this database, you can find a therapy suitable for you, according to your location, the type of therapy, expertise, professional training etc. Emotional Counselling and Therapy:
