• A generous gift from Prof. Vladimir Zelman of Los Angeles established the Professor Vladimir Zelman, MD, PhD Inter- Center of Brain Sciences. Disciplinary • The Crown Family of Chicago contributed generously to the President’s Distinguished Faculty Recruitment Program, allowing BGU to recruit quantum physicist Dr. Eran Maniv. An additional generous gift by t he Crown Family provides support for the University’s highest priorities in pursuit of greater excellence. • BGU Canada’s “An ‘Unorthodox’ National Virtual Gala for Brain Research” raised more than CA$ 850,000 for brain research at BGU. • A gift from the Zuckerman Institute of New York provides support through its post-doctorate program for American and Canadian women pursuing post doctorate STEM research in Israel. • A generous bequest by the late Jeannette Goldwater Moscovitch will fund scholarships for BGU undergraduate and graduate students of literature. Vancouver, British Columbia that will fund two undergraduate courses in Holocaust Studies for five academic years beginning in 2021-2022. The courses will be offered by the Rabb Center for Holocaust and Redemption Studies at BGU under the leadership of its head, Prof. Jackie Feldman. • A bequest was received from London’s Miriam Hyams, z”l, a generous donor to BGU for more than three decades and an active member of the Board of Governors. • A generous bequest was received from the estate of Renia Perel, z”l of

• A bequest from Zelda Porte, z”l of Washington DC, will support educational opportunities for immigrants, in particular from Ethiopia.

• The Société de Participation et De Gestion of Brussels made a gift of laptops and other computer equipment to sixteen Bedouin students at BGU through its Fondation Périer D’Ieteren. The donation, which is intended to facilitate these students’ learning and enable them to prepare effectively for their exams, was renewed for an additional year.
