RIGHTS BOOKLET
Developmental guidance for children: Children up to age 9, and children and adolescents up to age 18 who experienced developmental difficulties prior to October 7, will have an appointment scheduled with a developmental psychologist and a developmental physician in order to assess their needs, propose responses, and to create a personalized treatment plan. As needed, the kupat cholim will assemble a team of healthcare professionals, including a speech therapist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, and dietitian, available to assist the children. Continued monitoring and follow-up by the hospital after discharge into the community: To ensure continuous care in general and mental health, the team accompanying you during your hospitalization will continue to monitor your medical and emotional state via a telephone call or in-person meetings (based on your preference) following discharge. This monitoring will take place at regular intervals, unless required otherwise: two weeks and a month after discharge and, subsequently, once every three months until one year following discharge.
