When the returnees decide on a different residence from their original address, responsibility for their case will be transferred to that local authority. All queries can be referred to the regional department of social services via the municipal/local authority social worker.

Legal aid for the returnees:
■ Legal aid is provided to the returnees to exercise rights and handle any legal need related to the abduction, including claiming benefits, submitting insurance claims, issues related to finances and debts, employment, family law and personal status issues, NII, housing, guardianship, minors' rights and others. ■ A lawyer will be appointed to accompany the returnees and will advise and represent them as needed. ■ The aid is given to the returnees free of charge and is funded and supervised by the Legal Aid Unit in the Ministry of Justice, in order to exercise rights and help contend with various legal difficulties and needs stemming from the abduction.
