Accompanying returnees:
1. In general, returnees and their families will be closely accompanied by a social worker from the local authority's department of social services, who will help them with acclimation, exercising rights and addressing other needs, including assistance and mediation with government and other entities. 2. Organization: The department of social services in the local authority to which the returnee belongs will help when needed in handling basic needs such as eyeglasses, electric appliances, basic furniture etc. 3. Home assistance/auxiliary tutor: if needed, assistance will be provided via a professional employee who can help with cleaning or organizing families with young children etc. 4. Building a therapeutic program, tailored to the needs of the returnees and their families. 5. Material assistance for individuals, families, children and youths in the community that includes, if needed, food vouchers and basic home equipment. The coordinating social worker in the local authority's department of social services can be contacted for further details and assistance. Returnees - senior citizens:
A social worker from the senior citizens division of the department of social services in the local authority where the returnee lived prior to 7.10.23, is the dedicated contact who coordinates senior citizens' needs. The social worker is responsible for maintaining ongoing communication with all parties accompanying the returnees and their families.
