RIGHTS BOOKLET

O. Returnees' Rights As part of the arrangements to welcome back the returnees, the Kidnapped and Missing Persons, Returnees, and Their Families Administration, together with the IDF Personnel Directorate, the Ministry of Health, the NII, and the Ministry of Welfare are preparing a comprehensive package that begins with the returnee's arrival at the border crossing, continues at the receiving hospital and, subsequently, in the community. The exercising of a returnee's rights will be coordinated by the family's counsellor at the Administration who should be contacted for any need that arises. ■ A personalized kit, tailored to the returnee's age and gender, will wait for them at the hospital. The kit includes clothes for the first few days, slippers, flip-flops, toiletries, hygiene products, a blanket, jacket, and sunglasses. ■ The Ministry of Health will help the Administration to provide personally tailored eyeglasses, reading glasses and hearing aids for the returnee. ■ The Administration will provide the returnee with a cellphone (with a new number) upon arrival at the hospital. The new line (supplied by Pelephone) will be valid for one year and includes a large data package. ■ If the returnee prefers to use their original number on their new phone, we will facilitate this process. We will include a leaflet that explains the possible ramifications of restoring the old line. ■ The Administration will provide the returnee with a laptop computer or a tablet - according to their request. ■ Immediately after admission to the hospital, NII representatives will coordinate a visit to the hospital along with the family to give the returnee an acclimation grant of 10,000 NIS that will be loaded onto a credit card and may be used for any purpose.
