Independent Financial Rehabilitation ■ Parents, partners and children of captives/missing persons seeking to strengthen an existing independent business - are eligible for a loan in accordance with the maximum loan levels determined periodically. ■ Furthermore, they are also eligible for a one-time grant for reimbursement of purchase tax paid on one item only - applicable to equipment purchased for an independent business or to strengthen it. ■ The level of the grant will be determined by the Rehabilitation Committee.

The "Noshmim Lirvacha" ("Take a Breath") Program and "Otzma" Centers:

■ These programs operate in local authorities around Israel for families in financial distress and that need vocational guidance to exercise rights, to improve skills needed to manage family finances etc. Enquiries can be made via the social worker in the local authority's social services department.
