Payment to a widowed parent: ■ A widowed parent who has reached the mandatory retirement age (for men or women) will receive a supplement for financing special needs of 1,452 NIS per month. Payments to parents without income: ■ Parents of captives/missing persons whose income from any source - except a senior citizen's pension, survivor's pension up to the sum of a senior citizens pension, child allowance, periodic payments received as compensation for impaired health caused by Nazi persecution, a general disability pension from the NII, a disability pension paid in accordance with the Disabled Persons Law (except for special payments), and a pension paid in accordance with the Fallen Soldiers Families Law - does not exceed 500 NIS a month for a couple or 400 NIS a month for a single parent - will be entitled to monthly payment of: • 1,120.99 NIS for a couple of parents. • 1,401.87 NIS for a single parent.
