A Divorcee of a Captive/Missing Person who has not remarried: ■ Is entitled to a payment if he/she meets the following criteria: • He/she was at least 40 years old at the time of the abduction/ disappearance or is the parent of the captive's/missing person's child. • The captive or missing person is obligated to pay alimony according to a ruling by a civil court or other qualified court, in accordance with a written agreement. ■ The sum paid will be determined according to the sum of the alimony. A Divorced Woman or Man in Custody of a Child of the Captive/Missing Person: ■ Will receive a monthly payment for the child until they reach the age of 21. The sum of the payment: 5,912 NIS (as of November 2021). For more information on payments to partners of a captive/missing person, scan the code > Benefits for Parents of Captives/Missing Persons ■ Parents of captives/missing persons will receive a monthly payment according to the composition of the family, regardless of their income. ■ A single parent will receive a payment of 80% of the sum paid to a couple of parents - 7,013.93 NIS. ■ Parents with more than one captive/missing child will receive a payment of 200% (according to family status). ■ A supplementary sum will be paid for each sibling up to age 22 who is supported financially by the parent, as follows: • For one sibling: 20% of the sum paid to a couple of parents - 1,753.48 NIS. • For each additional sibling: 11% of the sum paid to a couple of parents - 964.42 NIS.
