Funding: 30.5% of the European Union’s multi-annual funding programs (248 million euros) are designated for improving the educational system, health, and social protection (Sustainable Service). It should be noted that a European Union study (2021) on Palestinian textbooks found that the books are promoting antisemitic narratives and glorification of violence. 142, 143 Also, in 2021, education expenses for Gaza, Judea, and Samaria accounted for 31% of UNRWA’s total expenditures, amounting to approximately $450 million, led by grants from the United States and the European Union. 144
