Chapter 6 Antisemitism and Indoctrination Promoting the Destruction of Israel in UNRWA Institutions

Bilal Ahmad – Teacher at a UNRWA school in Gaza On 10/7/2023, he posted Quranic quotes hinting at “Allah’s punishment on Israel.” In another post, Ahmad praised Hamas’s infiltration into Israeli civilian homes and wrote (from Surah 17, Ayah 5): “We sent against you Our servants… and they searched the homes, this was a promise fulfilled.” 92

On 10/7/2023, she posted another Quranic quote (Surah 11, Ayah 81), referring to the fate of the people of Lot for their sins . This quote hints at the attack on Israel as divine punishment for their wrongdoings: “Indeed, their appointed time is the morning. Is the morning not near?” 94

Ibrahim Al-Aziza – Teacher at a UNRWA school in Gaza On 10/7/2023, he posted two messages glorifying Hamas militants: “What a pleasant morning, may they be well”; “Here in Gaza, here are the men, and here is the pride, Bassam Jarrar is pleased with you.” Al-Aziza mentioned Sheikh Bassam Jarrar, who was known for his apocalyptic prophecies. Jarrar had previously predicted that the State of Israel would be destroyed in 2022. 95

Maha Abd-Alkarim – Teacher at a UNRWA school in Gaza On October 22, 2023, she posted a picture with a Quranic verse (Surah 45, Ayah 54), which refers to the defeat of the infidels and hints at the defeat of Israel: “The assembly will be defeated, and turn back. “Above the picture, she added, “It’s either us or us.” 93

Asmaa’ Rafiq Kuhail – Teacher at an UNRWA school in Gaza On 10/7/2023, she cynically wrote on Facebook: “I want to travel to Yavne, Jaffa, and Be’er Sheva to eat manakish for breakfast and take pictures at the sea; who’s coming with me?” In another post, she wrote, “07/10/2023, sculpture this date.” 96
