Chapter 3 Antisemitism and Indoctrination Promoting the Destruction of Israel in Schools and Their Social Media Platforms

2 Qalqilya Girls’ Elementary School ( قلقيلية الاساسية بنات ) On October 30, 2023, a video was posted with a caption stating that the current war “will liberate all of Palestine.” The video also included images showing the burning of the Israeli flag and the takeover of a tank on October 7th. 33

On October 26, 2023, a video showed a school play where one student represented Israel and another represented “Palestine.” During the play, Israel attacks “Palestine” and defeats her. “Palestine” then turns to Arab nations for help and vows revenge against Israel, but the Arab countries refuse to assist and avoid taking responsibility once again. At the end of the play, the Arab countries arrive to stand alongside “Palestine” and expel Israel from the land. 36 4 Al-Shuhada Al-Haram Al-Ibrahimi Girls’ Elementary School, Hebron ( مدرسة شهداء الحرم الابراهيمي الأساسية للبنات ) On October 17, 2023, a picture was posted on the school’s Facebook account showing a student presenting a drawing she made. The illustration depicts a figure with Palestinian symbols (wings in the colors of the PLO flag) raising a sword in the air while standing on a figure with Jewish symbols (a Star of David) on their arms. The post was captioned: “Student Lareen Dana expresses her support for Palestine and Gaza during ‘Al Aqsa Flood.’” 37

3 Beit Anan Girls’ High School, Jerusalem ( مدرسة بنات بيت عنان الثانوية )

On November 6, 2023, a video on the school’s official Facebook page showed images praising Hamas’s actions on October 7 , such as students wearing shirts with the words “Al-Aqsa Flood – 07/10/2023.” 34 There were also wall-painting activities where slogans like “07/10/2023 – A Date to Remember” and “Al-Qassam Brigades” were written. 35
