(3) To cancel this legislation would be to cancel what experts believe is one of the finest educational programs currently in place. (4) This is the legislation which experts say is the best way to do away with the educational program.

40. The English system of weights and measures does not lend itself as readily to the practice of science as does the metric system.

(1) Neither the English system of weights and measures nor the metric system is really suited to the practice of science. (2) British scientists prefer to use the English system of weights and measures rather than the metric system. (3) It is easier to practice science using the metric system of weights and measures than the English system. (4) More scientists like to use the metric system of weights and measures than the English system.
