11. Due to problems with the design of the experiment, its results were largely meaningless.

(1) There were a few problems with the design of the experiment, but those problems are largely meaningless, and will not affect the results. (3) The notion that a golden city named El Dorado existed somewhere in the American interior was a belief held by both De Soto and Coronado. (4) De Soto believed that Coronado’s golden city, El Dorado, could be found somewhere within America.
