EL AL presents its inflight service experience at the IMTM exhibition Last month, the IMTM International Tourism Exhibition - Israel’s largest tourism event - took place in Tel Aviv. EL AL dedicated its booth to presenting its inflight service experience. One of the most notable features at the booth was EL AL’s achievement of a FiveStar Global Airline ranking for service experience by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX). This prestigious distinction reflects EL AL’s ongoing commitment to enhancing its customer experience. Thousands of visitors enjoyed a beautifully designed tasting station showcasing select Israeli products, including fresh fruit, wine and boutique cheeses. At the Sundor booth, EL AL’s leisure brand, colorful popcorn was served, inspired by its new summer destinations: Varna, Salzburg and Naples.

EL AL is embarking on a new journey, expanding its route network on a scale unprecedented in the company’s history. Over the coming year, nine new routes will be launched, including three longhaul destinations in the Far East: Hanoi in Vietnam, Seoul in South Korea, and Manila in the Philippines. Beyond meeting tourism demand, these new routes will offer enhanced options for business travelers and strengthen economic ties between Israel and Asia. The flights will be operated by the airline’s advanced Dreamliner aircraft, featuring three service classes—Economy, Premium and Business. At the same time, Sundor, a subsidiary of EL AL, will launch non-stop flights to six additional Making History: EL AL announces nine new destinations around the world New: Apple TV is now available onboard EL AL has launched Apple TV across its inflight entertainment systems. Passengers can enjoy selected content from the Apple TV streaming service, available on seatback screens on wide-body aircraft and via the personal streaming service on passengers’ own devices on flights to Europe. The launch debuts with the award-winning series “Ted Lasso,” with additional titles such as “The Morning Show” and “Severance” to follow. The catalog includes dozens of episodes, totaling approximately 50 hours of content, further enhancing EL AL’s inflight entertainment experience.

destinations, joining Salzburg, Naples and Varna, which were recently announced. Italy will continue to stand out with flights to Catania in Sicily and Cagliari in Sardinia. They will be joined by Basel in Switzerland; Zagreb and Dubrovnik in Croatia; and, for the first time since 2001, EL AL— through Sundor—will resume flights to Copenhagen, Denmark. With the addition of these new destinations, EL AL is expected to operate approximately 60 non stop routes worldwide and reach a record of roughly 900 weekly flights. This development marks another significant milestone in the airline’s growth and in strengthening its global presence, alongside international partnerships that will offer convenient connections from the new destinations to others around the world.

free of charge to people in need, including chronic and cancer patients, so they no longer need to choose between medication and food.
