With spring bursting into bloom across Israel, one of the most beautiful regions to visit right now is the Valley of Springs, located between the Jordan Valley, Mount Gilboa, and the Lower Galilee. Alongside its gorgeous landscapes, the Valley of Springs offers a wide variety of activities and attractions, including fascinating archaeological sites such as a virtually intact Crusaders’ fortress, breathtakingly beautiful hiking trails, fantastic wineries, and more. There are many luxurious accommodation options in the area, as well as top-notch restaurants and eateries that champion local produce and farming. Now is also a great time to enjoy the desert, the winter rains having replenished the streambeds, and nurtured the vegetation. The Moa Living Resort, nestled deep in the Arava, offers an accommodation experience geared entirely towards enhancing physical and mental wellbeing. It is a beautiful resort complex built with an entirely ecological approach and in complete harmony with the surrounding desert landscape.

We spent 24 relaxing hours there, and came back with impressions and recommendations. This month we also bring to you a special article about padel - the new game that has taken Israel and the world by storm. Slowly but surely, padel has woven itself into the fabric of Israeli life, becoming the country’s new way of making friends and connecting with people, with more than 140 new padel courts having been built across the country, and new ones opening each month. And as always, our magazine is full of ideas and recommendations for what to see and do this month, with all the main cultural highlights and events. And to mark International Women’s Day, which occurs March 8th, our food section is entirely dedicated to restaurants headed by Israeli women, trailblazing chefs masterfully reshaping the Israeli culinary landscape.
