Olla Pizza, Kfar Ifsiya Every Friday, husband and wife duo Amin and Olla Alo open their pizzeria to guests in a charming little courtyard in the Druze village of Kfar Isfiya in the Carmel. The level of care and attention that go into each pizza here is truly outstanding. The pizzas are made using top quality ingredients – slow rise sourdough made of a mix of Italian flours and local flours that Amin grinds himself, cheeses, anchovies, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil from Italy, and fresh herbs

Fresca, Kibbutz Afikim Pastoral Kibbutz Afikim, a few minutes’ drive from the Sea of Galilee, is the charming setting of one the most renowned pizzerias in Israel. Fresca has been operating for over 13 years now, becoming a definite favorite among Israeli foodies and gourmands. The pizzas are made with 72h sourdough, rich Italian tomato sauce, and fresh mozzarella shipped in directly from Italy. Aside the classic Margherita, there are original creations including grilled eggplant pizza, four-cheeses pizza, and the Fresca flagship potato, sour cream, and scallion pizza. The attention to detail and sheer culinary excellence at play here have earned Fresca the 50 Top Pizza award for “most promising pizzeria” in 2024. frescapizzera.co.il almost as though the south of Italy had invited itself into the heart of the Carmel Mountains. This gem of a place has quickly gained recognition through word-of-mouth, drawing in crowds from across the country who come as much for the pizza as for the exceptional warmth and hospitality. @olla.pizza from the garden. Farino, Ashdod Hidden away in a shaded courtyard, Farino seems like it came straight out of an old Neapolitan postcard. Owner Yan Harush fell in love with the pizza culture of the south of Italy and decided to emulate it back in his hometown of Ashdod. Harush’s pizzas are the real deal - made with 48h sourdough, perfect tomato sauce and delicious mozzarella. The undisputed jewel of the crown here has got to be the Margherita, but if you’re feeling a little more adventurous, I recommend the stracciatella with tomato jam or the white pizza with parmesan cream and potatoes. The delectable slices are served in a lovely, friendly atmosphere, and for a moment, you could almost imagine you were in a little Naples trattoria. Harush has also recently opened a “tiramisu-teria” right next door – a temple dedicated

to the beloved Italian dessert, sweetly completing the Italian experience. @farino_pizza
