Clean and clear waters fill up two pools – one natural, the other artificial. As part of a maintenance project by the Kinneret Drainage and Streams Authority, the spring and its surroundings have been entirely renovated, hiking trails have been created along the stream, and picnic tables have been placed near the water. The spring is well-kept and surrounded by trees, perfect for spending a relaxing afternoon with the kids or with friends - and for the ideal day trip picnic, stop at the supermarket at the entrance to the road to pick up some bread, a few dips, and a good bottle of wine. kineret.org.il 04 Nahal Hashofet has long been a favorite among nature-lovers in search of a spot to enjoy with the kids. A few years ago, a flood caused a lot of damage here, leading on to major upgrade works undertaken by the JNF.
