What led you to join EL AL? “After the birth of my second child I felt I needed a change in my professional life and a friend of mine, an EL AL employee herself at the cargo division, gave my resume to her managers and I’ve been here ever since, delighted to have found such a welcoming and interesting workplace that’s not too far away from where I live”. What does your position entail? “I take care of charging import fees, which comprises providing customer care, collaborating with our stations oversees, our sales division, and our cargo accounting division”. What do you most like about your job? “I take pride in ensuring the highest level of customer care possible and in receiving positive feedback in return”.

Spending time abroad interrupts my usual routine and allows me to recharge my batteries before getting back to everyday life”. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? “I enjoy running and recently even joined the EL AL running group. I hope to make my running mates proud in the next race I take part in!” What would you be doing now had you not joined EL AL? “I think I’d be working in the field of psychology”.

Tips & Recommendations There are two destinations I keep going back to: the first is Athens. It’s beautiful, the food is great, the people are lovely and it’s a great place to do some cheap shopping. The second is Budapest as it has a vibrant Jewish quarter with many great kosher restaurants; and to running aficionados like myself – I warmly recommend going for a run along the beautiful Danube.

Which part of your job do you find most challenging? “Providing the highest level of service is an ongoing challenge. Our job is to make sure we’re always on top of our game and better than our competitors”. What do you always have in your suitcase? “A copy of
