What inspired you to join EL AL Airlines? “I have always been fascinated by the world of aviation. I sent out my resume to EL AL after coming across a job posting, as working for Israel’s national airlines company was such a dream to me”. What does your position entail? “I plan the company’s yearly budget, which means analyzing passenger influx, revenue, performing market and customer segmentation analyses, building decision support systems, evaluating the viability of potential partnerships, launching new destinations, and examining the profitability of the current route plan and aircraft configuration”. What do you most like about your job? “The ability to directly influence company decisions and positioning according to business realities. Evaluating new destinations is a fascinating way to expand horizons and increase knowledge. Part of my job is to examine a destination’s viability and make sure our financial models become reality”. What do you always have in your suitcase? “My toiletry bag”. Which EL AL destination do you most enjoy flying to and why? “Thailand – to me it’s the ultimate holiday destination. It’s always fun to be back in one of its pampering resorts, admire its tropical landscapes, and enjoy the wonderful cuisine”. What do you do in your spare time? “I love reading books, spending quality time with family and friends”. What would you be doing now had you not joined EL AL? “I’d probably be a teacher, working with kids, or maybe an accountant”.
