Cappella | Tel Aviv

There are a number of great rooftop restaurants in Tel Aviv, but Cappella is truly incomparable. Located on the 14 th floor of the Hagag high-rises, this lounge bar emanates New York chic with a touch of mysterious secrecy. Co-created by Nox Group, leaders in the Tel Aviv nightlife industry, and chef Shahaf Shabtay, also at the helm of Pop&Pope, the restaurant next door. Why secrecy you may ask? Well, it’s right by one of Tel Aviv hottest nightclubs that only true insiders know about, and Cappella is where the happy few go to relax, have a drink and a tasty bite. The menu is inspired by Shabtay’s love for Asian, Italian, Greek and local cuisine, and pairs perfectly with a cocktail. Dishes include tuna sashimi, dim-sum dumplings, souvlaki and more. Open Monday to Saturday, from 7 p.m. cappellatlv.com

Taco-Yafo | Tel Aviv Operated by hospitality brand Selina, this Mexican lounge bar is located on one of Tel Aviv’s trendiest rooftops. It offers numerous sitting arrangements – from lounger bean bags, romantic pergola beds, to barstools, dining tables and chairs. Order a mojito or a tequila shot, take in the spectacular view of the Mediterranean Sea and the Old City of Jaffa, and enjoy splashing your feet about in one of the rooftop’s four wading pools. Early risers will delight in the pampering breakfast menu, but for night owls, it’s cocktails and finger food galore, including fish, asado or cauliflower tacos, ceviche, Redefine Meat vegan kebab, and more. selina.com/israel/tel-aviv-beach
