Where to stay The Ein Gev Holiday Resort Situated on the Kinneret shore itself, the Ein Gev Holiday Resort has recently been refurbished. 59 new family bungalows have been erected, each with its own balcony and access to the beach, as well as a master bedroom and kids’ bedroom (sleeping up to three children), a smart TV and fully equipped bathroom and kitchen. The resort offers many kids’ activities (a weekly timetable is available at reception upon request). Breakfast is served every morning in a communal dining area and billiard and ping pong tables are available for use by all guests. In 2003, two local cattle farmers, Roi Tavor and Itamar Kendlik, decided to open a butcher’s shop, Marinado, to sell the quality

beef they produce. They went on to open a restaurant as well, Marinado Restaurant, which serves choice cuts of lamb, veal, prime rib, lamb T-bone steak, lamb kebab and the list goes on. The menu also includes chicken dishes and salads as well as vegan options and dishes for kids. The restaurant is situated at the entrance of Ein Gev Kibbutz, as well as the adjacent Marinado delicatessen, where visitors can purchase wine, olive oil, condiments, sauces, olives, kitchen utensils and picnic accessories.
