Marée | Netanya

Meaky’s Top View Bar | Tarshiha The Galilean village of Tarshiha has been a major culinary hub for years now. The beautiful alleyways, craftsmen’s workshops, churches, hummus eateries, farmer’s market (Saturdays only), pastry shops and restaurants are a joy to explore. Meaky’s gastropub is located on the rooftop of a historical building, serving today as a meat and fish smokehouse, run by Hatem Tanus. After years working in France and Scandinavia where he ran a bar serving cheese and salmon, he decided to export the idea back to his hometown of Tarshiha, where his family has long been established. Tanus also makes excellent beer and arak which he serves at the gastropub. The menu is Mediterranean with a Scandinavian and Asian twist. The smoked fish and meat platter is an absolute must, and there are many fresh fish options, and seafood dishes. Open Wednesday to Saturday from 6 p.m. meakystropviewbar.business.site

The Marée restaurant is elegantly sprawled across 900 m 2 on the 15 th floor of the Vert Hotel in Netanya. The restaurant’s design evokes the colors and motifs of the sea with its rocks modeled onto the walls, and its coral-resembling chandeliers. It is divided into three spaces, with an open kitchen at the center. Start the evening with a delicious meal inside, then move to the bar for an after-dinner drink before ending the night in the rooftop lounge, where the view is spectacular. The menu, crafted by chef Aviv Moshe is highly inventive and includes dishes such as tuna carpaccio with mustard sorbet, eggplant sashimi, sea bass gnocchi, and more. Open Sunday to Thursday from 7 p.m. and Saturday,
