Anyone who has ever traveled within Tel Aviv and Jerusalem can tell you the polar opposite cities are magnetic and compelling in very different, singular ways. Designer, illustrator, and wanderlust traveler Ira Ginzburg, decided to put her pen to paper and animate the quirks and perks of each city - documenting the hidden streets, tucked away gardens, and expert local tips. When designer and artist Hagar Bareket graduated from the Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art, she immediately started to hone her craft with shapes, patterns, colors, and texture - creating joyful works, from animation to illustration and signature designs. Her characters became an instant hit, and she started producing her own line of handmade and symbolic plates - what ended up being her last artistic venture before her untimely passing at the age of 27 in 2020. Her parents have since picked up where she left off, continuing to produce her works through the Hagar Bareket Foundation.
