The Carmel Market

This market stretches across HaCarmel Street. Most stands are open from 8am until the early hours of the night. On Fridays the market closes in the early afternoon (earlier in winter), and is closed on Saturdays. The Carmel Market is bustling with life, colorful and houses a variety of vegetable, spice, fruit, and sh stands, restaurants, and special foods. There are guided food tours of the market.
