A European wonderland The Botanical Gardens From now till next January, the

Botanical Gardens in Givat Ram will be the stage of Winter Dreams II, a European light festival that from 5pm each night, takes visitors on a magical journey through illuminated garden paths and interactive light and music installations. Two million colorful LED lights illuminate the garden paths, the lake and the treetops, creating a magical atmosphere right in the heart of Jerusalem. An original musical soundtrack turns the tour into a veritable multi-sensory experience of light, sound, and movement. Dozens of light displays and giant light sculptures made especially for the occasion, including a 17m train, an illuminated Roman Gate, etc., line the garden paths, and, under the helm of chef Moshik Roth, a food festival with dozens of stalls offer visitors the chance to taste a variety of delicacies from around the world, such as Spanish patatas bravas, fish and chips, roasted chestnuts, sweet churros, alongside typical winter beverages such as hot cider, mulled wine, hot chocolate, and more. There’ll even be a stall serving dishes that “glow” – food lit up by ultraviolet light. A spectacular culinary experience for the eyes and palate. All dishes are kosher. A winter art market will also be set up, just like winter markets in Europe, with stalls selling artworks, and artisanal items.
