A.V. Room – Ashdod This special gem of a place has become an Ashdod nightlife favorite among the city’s foodies and champagne lovers. Launched by the son of Idi Israelovitch, owner of the Ashdod culinary institution “Idi”, the A.V. Room is located high up on a seafront rooftop. Spectacular sea views, a central open kitchen, and a spacious bar create an atmosphere background music. Dishes include red tuna tartare with Persian lemon powder, whitefish sashimi with yuzu, taboon-baked sea bass aside a vegetable salad with a tahini foam dressing, and more, reflecting the Mediterranean spirit of the menu that pairs so well with the plethora of custom cocktails, wines, and champagnes on offer here. A great Japón – Jaffa The Setai Tel Aviv Hotel on the Jaffa seafront is located in an 18 th century building that used to serve as police headquarters under Ottoman rule and in the times of the British Mandate. It’s also where the 1970’s Israeli classic “The Policeman Azulay” was filmed. Then, at the turn of this century, luxury hotel chain Setai transformed it into the gorgeous palace of hospitality that it is today. Recently, a new kosher Asian-inspired rooftop restaurant was inaugurated on its balcony, perched above the Mediterranean. Named after its Setai Miami sister, the menu at Japón includes dishes such as fish and vegetable sushi rolls, sushi poké bowls, Thai papaya salad, and panko-crusted sea bass with spicy truffle, served in a glamorous setting that accentuates the magic of the backdrop. A delightful culinary experience enhanced by the location’s incredible history and cultural significance. thesetaihotels.com of buzzing summer vibrancy, enhanced by the enveloping

Liwa – Akko “Liwa!” is what the fishermen of Akko call out to each other in unison every morning as they collectively gather forces to stabilize their boat as it launches into sea, and it is in homage to them that this gorgeous seafood rooftop restaurant has been named. Indeed, everything about “Liwa” speaks of the belief in joining collective forces and coordinating individual talents together to create a gastronomic experience of the highest order. Located atop the main building of seafront boutique hotel “Akotika” (which also has other gorgeous locations in Akko’s Old City), it is surrounded by breathtaking views. The kosher menu evokes the flavors of the Arab-Galilean table, with dishes such as fattoush salad with grilled cheese, shish barak fish dumplings with lemony yoghurt sauce, grilled fish, baked fish, raw fish ceviche, etc., and desserts such as basbousa. akotika.co.il/liwa
