Strengthening collaborations with external partners remains a priority, leading to new joint research initiatives with organizations such as the ADI Negev rehabilitation center and the Rosetrees Foundation, alongside expanded international partnerships with research institutions including UT Austin, ULB-Brussels, and NICE-JITRI in China. To promote academic excellence in the humanities and social sciences, we launched targeted funding programs to support scholarly publications and extended specific research support for teaching fellows in the Faculties of Business & Management and Humanities & Social Sciences. Our commitment to fostering research
excellence extends to individual researchers as well. We continued to invest in faculty recruitment and retention, allocating NIS 15 million toward faculty absorption packages to attract and support outstanding researchers. We actively promoted and provided institutional matching funds for the CHE’s “Research Fellows” program, which resulted in six BGU researchers receiving prestigious fellowships.
Through these efforts, the Office remains committed to fostering a thriving research environment at BGU and expanding the University’s impact on both national and global levels. We look forward to building on these achievements in the coming year and continuing to support groundbreaking research that will shape the future.
