JAN 2023 Literary Webinar Series Keeps Canadian Supporters Warm A unique and innovative webinar series, called In Conversation with Israeli Authors , sustained Canadian friends of BGU during the cold winter months. The program, launched in 2021, has already become a beloved annual tradition. Each series is made up of three sessions held between January and March, each featuring a conversation with an Israeli author and one of her/his books. For a nominal fee, attendees receive all three books and a curated box filled with merchandise.

FEB 2023 Selfies in Auschwitz: The Challenges of Holocaust Memory in a Digital Age, Los Angeles, California Are selfies at Holocaust memorial sites ever acceptable? A4BGU and the Holocaust Museum LA hosted a special presentation by Prof. Jackie Feldman, professor of anthropology at BGU, who explored the ever-changing dynamics of preserving and honoring memory in the modern age of technology and social media.
FEB 2023 BGU Autism Research Showcased in London
BGUF organized a highly successful sold out event on autism in London. “Autism: Unravelling the Secrets and Sharing New Discoveries" featured BGU autism expert Prof. Ilan Dinstein, founding Director of the Azrieli National Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment Research at BGU, who presented his research together with colleague Sir Simon Baron-Cohen of the University of Cambridge, an expert in developmental psychopathology.
