JAN 2023 BGUF President Attends Launch of New Center Supported by Manya Igel Estate Ann Berger, President of the Ben Gurion University Foundation in the UK, was a special guest of Prof. Raz Jelinek, Vice President and Dean for R&D, for the second BGU Research Fest. The Manya Igel BGU-FOR (Food systems, One health, and Resilience) Research Center, supported by the Estate of Manya Igel, UK, was launched as part of the event.

JAN 2023 Exclusive Film Screening and Talkback in Boca Raton, Florida A4BGU’s South Florida chapter hosted a pre-screening cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception for the film Who Are the Marcuses? After the screening, guests were invited to an engaging talkback with A4BGU CEO Doug Seserman, Ellen Marcus, and Neal Myerberg, Esq.
JAN 2023 Special Gift by Miriam Roland Celebrated Miriam Roland, long-time dedicated benefactor and volunteer leader, has once again made a wonderful gift that will further strengthen BGU and its Goldman Sonnenfeldt School of Sustainability and Climate Change. The $1 million donation will create a partnership between BGU and Concordia University’s Next-Generation Cities Institute focused on smart cities, energy, sustainability and building construction. A special gift announcement was held at the end of January with BGU President, Prof. Daniel Chamovitz (virtually), Concordia University President, Prof. Graham Carr, Miriam Roland and guests representing both universities.
