Day Centers: ■ The day center is aimed to enable senior citizens to remain at home with their family, while providing a comprehensive daily care with the objective of strengthening the senior citizen's sense of belonging, reducing their sense of loneliness, and to prevent or defer dependency. The basket of services provided to the senior citizens includes travel to and from their home, meals, personal therapy, social and cultural activities, and social care. Coordinated Therapy: ■ A program that operates in approximately 30 local authorities, in conjunction with the Ministry of Health and the Kupot Cholim. Combined teams of a social worker and nurse provide an integrated and holistic solution for senior citizens in complex social, functional, and medical situations.
