Mordecai riding the horse

The most miraculous moment in the scroll of Esther is portrayed here in blazing color and a dramatic effect. Mordecai is triumphant over Haman, and rides the king’s horse to the palace driven by the defeated Haman. The overturning of the tables is brought to life in full color. Huvi rarely paints faces in detail, but here she chose to show the face of mordecai, lit in hope and prayer.
