bride and groom dance

At the end of a Chassidic wedding, the bride and groom dance together. It is a short and highly moving dance, while the parents and family pray for them to build a happy Jewish home together. They say that the forefathers of the couple watch this dance from heaven and pray for them as well. Perhaps this why the painting shows them at this angle, as if there is another whole level to this scene.
