41. Despite its obviously superior technology, the Macintosh computer has lagged behind the PC computer in sales.

(1) The Macintosh computer is superior to the PC computer, mainly because it was introduced so much later. (3) The PC computer has higher sales than the Macintosh computer, largely because of the PC's technological superiority.
