10. So far this treatment has been used on only a small number of patients with brain disorders, but it already shows great promise.

(1) Not many patients with brain disorders can benefit from this treatment, but those who can be treated should improve considerably. (2) While the use of this treatment has so far been restricted to just a few patients with brain disorders, researchers are already promising to offer it to many more patients. (3) Although early results from this treatment have been very good, it will only be used on a small number of patients with brain disorders. (4) Although only a few patients with brain disorders have yet received this treatment, the results so far are very encouraging.

12. Schizophrenia, rather than a single disease, represents a group of related mental disorders.

(3) Schizophrenia is just one of a large group of related mental problems. (4) Schizophrenia is not a set of similar mental disorders, but a single specific mental disease.
