(2) Without years of effort using the most advanced equipment available, it is unlikely that researchers will ever detect radio signals from intelligent life in outer space. (3) Even with the most sophisticated equipment available, researchers have rarely detected any radio signals which could conceivably have originated with intelligent life in outer space. (4) Radio signals from intelligent life in outer space have never been detected by researchers, despite their years of effort with complex equipment. 4. Predators like Siberian tigers can only survive in environments where large populations of prey animals exist. (1) Habitats which contain large numbers of prey animals are the only ones in which predators like Siberian tigers can survive. (2) In habitats where large number of prey animals are not present, predators such as Siberian tigers find it hard to survive. (3) The only thing which predators like Siberian tigers require from their environments in order to survive is large numbers of prey animals. (4) Only predators like Siberian tigers require environments with large numbers of prey animals in order to survive.
