“It’s important to me that people understand that even when I was in captivity and it was unbearably hard, I chose life and I chose hope”, says Daniella Gilboa, one of the IDF observers who was kidnapped by Hamas on October 7, 2023, and released after 477 days in captivity in Gaza. We met with her for a special interview, as we mark three years since that darkest of day. This statement of hers seems to express the choice we have all made as a collective. Gilboa, who is a singer-songwriter, will be flying this month to Australia to perform at the Jewish music festival held in Sydney and Melbourne.
