A new AI-based self-service hotel check-in station The Astral Hotel chain will be launching a brand-new AI-based self-check-in station, first at its Eilat location, the Queen of Sheba Hotel, before extending across its other hotels across the country. The system, developed by EyeFeelIt, combines a human-sized AI avatar serving as a digital concierge and check-in station. The check-in process is very quick and simple: guests scan a QR code and complete the rest of the process on their mobile device, before then receiving the keys to their room. The avatar will also be able to provide information about the hotel’s various services, recommend restaurants, attractions and points of interest, and assist guests throughout their stay. Created 33 years ago, the World Travel Awards represent a hallmark of hospitality excellence.
