Lento, Shefayim Casual Italian
Chef Motti Sofer, former owner of the beloved Tel Aviv restaurant “La Repubblica”, is back with a new farm to-table spot in Kibbutz Shefayim. The dishes are all made using produce that comes directly from Sofer’s farm in Kfar Hayarok, with the menu changing daily, according to seasonality and availability. Dishes include fresh, elegant pasta dishes, pizza, fish, and vegetable offerings, with small and medium-sized plates served at the center of the table, exalting the flavors of Italy in all their glory: delicious fluffy focaccia, fresh panzanella, gnudi dumplings in Parmesan butter, etc., tracing out a fabulous culinary journey that crosses regions and flavors, before ending with classic tiramisu and panna cotta. The wine menu includes wonderful Italian wines that perfectly complete the food, creating a lovely gastronomical experience in the heart of the HaSharon region. @lento.food
