Eden Ohana | Elegant minimalist candlesticks Designer and film and tv art director Eden Ohana recently launched a new collection of candlesticks at this year’s Fresh Paint Fair. Ohana’s candlesticks combine the spirit of nostalgia with design innovation, making for the perfect gift this holiday season. Made of high-quality stainless steel, the candlesticks offer a minimalist, modern version of the classic candlestick, with a clever design that allows for it to arrive in flat packaging for easy storage and shipping. Each candlestick is made of two separate parts that interconnect to create one single item that can be integrated into any holiday table design and color scheme. We recommend combining two candlesticks in different sizes. Prices: NIS 160 for the small version: 8cmx12cm, NIS 200 for the big one: 10cmx24cm. edenohana.com, @edenjha

The Noma Bar exhibition catalogue

Noma Bar is one of the world’s most original and influential illustrators. Born in Afula and a graduate of the Bezalel Academy, Bar lives and works in London. His first retrospective exhibition to take place in Israel is currently on show at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art (see page 10). As a student, he became interested in typography and studied the concept of negative space and its inherent potential. Later, as an artist working in a foreign country and encountering many different cultures, he began to develop a universal, unique, instantly recognizable visual language that transcends letters, words, and borders: a minimalist, precise, powerful language that manages to translate complex ideas into one sharp, surprising and unforgettable image. The exhibition catalogue, which was released simultaneously in eight different cover versions, makes for a wonderful gift for people of any age. Price: NIS 120. Available at the Tel Aviv Museum store. tamuseum.org.il, @telavivmuseumofart, @numa_bar

House of Oberson Architectural heritage House of Oberson: A Design Legacy is a new book by architect Dana Oberson, published by international publishing house Rizzoli. It offers an in-depth look at the architectural language Oberson has developed over the course of more than two decades of work via 23 of her projects. Oberson’s architectural vision is one in which each project is seen as a complete system in which architecture, interior design, artworks, materials, light, and landscape exist in a continuous dialogue. The book also shows what a profound influence Oberson’s father - fashion designer Gideon Oberson – has had on her and her worldview; indeed, like him, she does not make a sharp distinction between fashion and architecture but rather highlights the similarities between them: both are about
