How did you start working at EL AL? “I’ve always been fascinated by the world of aviation – ever since I was a kid, so it was only natural for me to want to work at EL AL, the only place where Law and Zionism meet at 30,000 feet above ground”. What does your position entail? “I provide legal advice to the maintenance & engineering department on matters regarding fleet building strategy, which includes major transactions such as the acquisition of engines and aircraft via the MAX 737 campaign agreements. I also coordinate matters regarding international trade sanctions and restrictions”. What do you love about your job? “I get immense satisfaction from being part of the process that leads to the signing of major deals – from a new engine going into inventory or

a new aircraft joining the company fleet. Every deal brings on new and exciting challenges, and not a day goes by without me getting to learn something new”. Which part of your job do you find most challenging? “The fast pace of things. There’s always a lot of work to be done, with maximum complexity and the responsibility is very high. But that’s great, because it’s exactly what keeps me sharp and focused”. What do you always have in your suitcase? “My running shoes”. Which EL AL destination do you most enjoy flying to and why? “Dubai - without hesitation. It offers a rare combination of stunning beaches, vibrant nightlife, and plenty of attractions. It’s especially magical for kids: there are so many fun things for them to experience, from huge water parks to original

theme parks, and all with the highest hospitality standards”. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? “I run long distances - marathons and half marathons, and it’s an inseparable part of my identity and of who I am. I participate in competitions in Israel and around the world, and I’m very proud to represent EL AL in the Workplace League.” What would you be doing now had you not joined EL AL? “I’d probably be in the Wellness world – either a running coach or the founder of a company that blends sports with healthy living”.
