In these complex times, making the choice to come and spend time in Israel means playing an active role in the country’s renewal. As the hotels, tourist sites, and attractions of the Golan Heights and the Galilee are now reopening, it’s the perfect time to head north and embark on a trip that’ll lead you to some of the country’s most beautiful spots, and allow you to provide vital support to the region’s small and medium-sized businesses as you do so. These businesses are precisely what constitutes the beating heart of Israel’s beautiful north. The people behind them have often been deeply affected by the war – many are reservists back from prolonged reserve duty, and all are now eagerly awaiting the return of tourists and travelers, and for their beloved region to rebuild and recover. In our magazine this month, we’ve collected 17 recommendations of fun activities to enjoy up north, from picking cherries, to sculpture workshops, and coffee carts in the middle of nature. Continuing in this spirit of solidarity, we

sat down with Ayelet Razin Bet Or, co founder of the “Nitzan Foundation” – an important World Zionist Organization initiative born in the wake of October 7, working to reduce gender gaps, combat violence against women, and assist in the economic and occupational rehabilitation of women affected by the war. Razin Bet Or talks to us about the progress made on the ground and calls on companies and businesses to become strategic partners so as to bring about significant societal change. And as always, our magazine is full of articles, tips, and recommendations, including for some of our favorite restaurants across the country, where the view is as good as the food; and our designer section this month puts a spotlight on designer items celebrating the colors and motifs of the spring to enhance and liven up any interior. As we hope for many more days of national pride and good news, I wish you a pleasant read and a peaceful flight, Nava Marton @nava.marton I nava@atmospheres.co.il
