Exhibition Worth the Wait | The Eretz Israel Museum MUZA, Tel Aviv

This exhibition places the experience of waiting at its center. Through contemporary artworks, fascinating exhibits from the museum’s collections, and activity stations, it invites the audience - children (from the age of five) and adults - to reflect anew on an intermediate state - between present and future, between what already exists and what has not yet come to be. According to curators Mor Haimovitz and Noga Shai-Shreberk, the idea for the exhibition was born from the experience of waiting that we have all had over the past two years - for the release of the hostages, as well as for the return of better days. The exhibition features ancient fertility figurines, grain amulets, old letters and antique vessel jars from the museum’s collection, alongside contemporary works including Vered Nissim’s “LOVE Selfie”, a video work by Mark Formanek, and original artworks.
