Exhibition The Live Lab: Behind the Scenes | The Israel Museum, Jerusalem This exhibition is a behind-the scenes look at how conservators work, away from the visitor’s eye. Through the glass of a transparent lab, visitors will be able to observe the conservation processes that take place so that artifacts can be put on display. The exhibition opens with eight objects, each one carrying a fascinating story that was uncovered over the course of a long curatorial process. Conservation is about ensuring the material integrity of cultural heritage artifacts, involving scholarly research and a huge amount of care. The Israel Museum is home to six conservation labs that handle hundreds of thousands of items. Here, visitors get the chance to follow the journey these items go on, from the moment they arrive at the museum, and until their placement on display. Performing Arts Dance in Peace 107 I Tel Aviv Museum of Art

Dance in Peace 107 is a multidisciplinary production born in the wake of October 7. It opens at 06:28-06:29, the time the horror began, and continues for 80 condensed minutes, unflinchingly touching upon both the monstrosity of what took place, and the manifestations of exceptional human resilience and courage. The show is a blend of monologues, dance pieces, poetry readings, flamenco, video art, and more, presented by 15 exceptional artists who invite audiences into a space of collective processing of trauma. The project was instigated by Dana Sapir, founder of Heartivism, a cultural artistic-social initiative working towards reconciliation and hope through art. September 7-8, tamuseum.org.il

The Friends brand has landed in Israel for the first time, with a pop up store and café located in Azrieli Sarona. The project is a joint initiative of the Azrieli Group and LDI, who represent Warner Bros. Discovery in Israel, and it is sponsored by Tnuva Alternative. It launched in August and is set to last all through September. Fans of the series can delight in the 510sqm-store, chockfull of official products and photo stations (with, notably, the iconic door to Monica’s apartment, the famous fountain, and the iconic café sofa). The pop-up café is operated by Biscotti and serves desserts and pastries inspired by iconic moments from the series, like Phoebe’s grandmother’s Pop-up store and café Friends I Azrieli Sarona Tel Aviv
