Here are a few trail recommendations: The “mushroom” hike: suitable for a short family trip, this hike begins at the foot of the Neot HaKikar “mushroom” sand dune. This trail offers a lovely opportunity to enjoy a picnic at the nearby Amatsyahu Eco Park, open Thur-Sat between 9am and 6pm. The Har Tzruya Lookout, Kibbutz Ein Gedi : this lookout point offers a panorama onto the Dead Sea, the Judean Desert, and Nahal Arugot unlike no other. You reach it by climbing Maale Tzruya (a trail marked in green), which begins at Kibbutz Ein Gedi. Suitable for more experienced hikers. Ein Gedi nature reserve: there are several points of interest to explore here, including Nahal David and Nahal Arugot, that both offer the blessed joy of taking a refreshing dip in natural springs, as well as an archeological site with an ancient synagogue that’s open to the public, offering a fascinating look onto the past.
