EL AL and Mamanet: Connecting People, Communities, and Values

EL AL’s own Cachibol team, made up of women from various departments within the company, participates in the national workplace league. Mamanet, the largest mothers’ Cachibol league, proves that sport is much more than a game – it brings people together, offers a space for individual and collective healing, and participates in building a strong and resilient society. Mamanet, the largest mothers’ Cachibol league, is celebrating 20 groundbreaking years of activity. What began as a blue-and-white initiative by Ofra Abramovich has grown into a warm, vibrant, and inspiring community, active in over 100 cities across Israel and the world. Through an accessible, empowering team sport (Every Mother Can!), Mamanet fosters The RESTART organization helps wounded IDF and security forces veterans return to full and meaningful lives, offering personal support and connecting them with Israel’s leading companies. The organization was founded and is managed by wounded veterans themselves— people who know firsthand the challenges of rehabilitation and the strength it takes to rebuild one’s life. One of the organization’s core programs is Makers for Heroes—an innovative initiative that develops personalized technological solutions.
