Exhibition Towards the light | Litvak Gallery, Tel Aviv This exhibition showcases works by international glass artist Dale Chihuly and Israeli painter Daniel Enkaoua, creating a fascinating dialogue between these two artists who explore, each in his own way, the relationship between light, material, and transparency. Chihuly creates pulsating, almost living bodies, while Enkaoua paints echoes of memory – deposits of light, color, feeling. The exhibition features rare works from Chihuly’s “Venetian” series that have never been shown in Israel, alongside Enkaoua’s poetic creations that place the emphasis on light and deep emotional expression. Entrance is free. Until June 30 th , litvakcontemporary. com Artwork by Dale Chihuly I Photo: by Yuval Hay Artwork by Daniel Enkaoua I Photo: by Ghazal Studios

Dance The Barcelona Flamenco Ballet | Across Israel

Spanish dance company the Barcelona Flamenco Ballet is in Israel for the first time this month with its own modern take on Carmen, based on the opera by Georges Bizet. The Flamenco Ballet’s Carmen remains true to the opera’s original narrative, but tells it by blending traditional flamenco with the language of contemporary dance. The company, led by founder and choreographer David Gutiérrez, was established in 2017, quickly achieving international success thanks to its innovative and rhythmic interpretations that combine flamenco, contemporary ballet, and jazz. This is an exciting, emotional piece, with 12 dancers that light up the stage to the sound of live music played by Spanish musicians. June 7-10, bezalelevent.co.il
